Sex, love and romance are delightful aspects of humanity and yet because of our trauma, our psychological beliefs and biological influences, these three can be used consciously or unconsciously as a drug of choice either individually or together causing pain and havoc in our love life. The three addictions are separate and unique and understanding how and why they come into our life is essential to achieving success in our recovery and to experiencing mature love.
A once a month group focused on love, romance and sex addiction and or the combination thereof, will start on the first Tuesday of the month from 7 to 9 p.m. on February 2nd. It is not a 12 step group and members are free to meet on other Tuesday evenings to focus on the 12 steps of LAA or SLAA.
